MuOM live at Delicatessen Musiquem Festival
The gardens of the convent of Santa Clara and the interior of the Seu Vella were yesterday the scene of the second day of the Musiquem Lleida festival! which, despite sanitary restrictions by the Covid-19, achieved public success by depleting reserves in most performances. The director of the Shalom Choir, Bernat Giribet, was in charge of opening the program in the gardens of the convent with a masterclass entitled “Gesture as a bridge between visual art and musical composition.” accompanied on the piano by Aurelio Viribay, soprano Patricia Castro delighted the audience at noon with several pieces by women composers. The last concert in the gardens of Santa Clara was that of the soprano Ulrika Haller and the pianist Jordi Armengol, who offered a repertoire of Catalan and German songs.
However, the culmination of this day was the group MuOM, which filled all the seats installed in the Seu Vella to listen to their therapeutic music, characterized by the technique of harmonic singing. To compensate for the limit in capacity for the pandemic, some of the performances are broadcast live on the festival’s website and live on LleidaTV.
